About Me
I’m currently a graduate student at UCLA’s Teacher Education Program, where I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and am completing my Master of Education. I graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies.
My teaching journey is rooted in my commitment to equity and my belief that all students deserve access to high-quality, meaningful education. Through my student teaching experiences in both 1st and 5th grade, I have developed a practice grounded in three core commitments: building genuine community, treating joy as essential to learning, and centering students in everything from curriculum design to daily routines. I am especially passionate about early literacy that invites students to engage in authentic, generative thinking rather than simply rehearsing procedures.
I strive to cultivate student-centered classrooms that are inclusive, affirming, and grounded in positive relationships. I see this work as deeply connected to collaboration—I actively build strong partnerships with colleagues, families, and the broader school community, recognizing that shared responsibility is essential to student success.

Three Commitments shape my classroom.
Community
01
Where relationships and belonging are at the center of student success. This sense of community extends beyond the classroom, recognizing the importance of partnerships with families and the broader community.
02
Joy
Joy is not separate from academics — it powers them. When students feel safe, seen, and connected, they take risks, persist through challenge, and grow into confident learners.
Student-centered Learning
03
Grounded in intentionality, differentiation, and culturally relevant practices that make the content meaningful and engaging. This approach empowers students to take ownership of their learning and see themselves represented in the curriculum.
